But it is not all academic! Each year we have a creative button project for you to make and take, a potluck in December, and games to play. We try to offer buttons for sale at each meeting.

Founded in the 1960’s, the Martha Washington Button Club’s purpose is to study and learn about all types of buttons and mutually to enjoy the hobby of button collecting. We welcome all who share an interest in studying, collecting, and preserving clothing buttons, both old and new.

Meetings are the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 3810 Meredith Dr., Fairfax, VA (enter in the back of the building, through the kitchen entrance). Come and learn more about all those buttons in your button box or collection!  Please note:  Meeting dates and programs are subject to change.   Click here to download program details.

If you would like to attend a meeting, please contact us at mwbuttonclub@gmail.com
